During EA's E3 press conference today, the company made a pair of small announcements about the future of how you'll be able to play their games.
The first was that it is currently trialling a streaming service, which is not yet ready for public release, with the intention of allowing players to play EA games over a streaming connection.
Secondly, it announced Origin Access Premier, a new subscription service which will give players access to all of EA's new games, as well as 100 games from its back catalogue. It costs £14.99 per month, or £89.99 per year, and it's coming "later this summer." £90 a year sounds like a lot but, maybe if you buy every Battlefield and FIFA anyway, it might make sense?
