There’s already been a tonne of games announced for 2017 so we’re going to be separating them up by genre. The first of these is a gaming stalwart: the shooter. One of the very first computer games was a top-down shooter called Spacewar! and developers have never been able to leave the genre behind.
Over the next 12 months shooters are going to take us everywhere from the depth of the ocean to gunfights in outer space. They’re even taking us to horrific places like Basingstoke. You’ll fight nazis, aliens, zombies, even multi-story toads.
Grab a cup of tea and pore over the games you’re going to be training your sights on in 2017.
