Kotaku covers all sorts of things that float in the orbit of video games and internet culture, but if you just want to read about the games themselves, this is where to come. All of our games news, features, reviews and more live here.
The Division 2's first raid is being delayed from 25 April to some time in May as Ubisoft is embarking on major rebalancing of the game (following a lot of grumbling on forums about issues with builds, exotic weapons and more). A Public Test Server is going live today for anyone who has the game via Uplay on PC. There is no console PTS.
Left Alive, the fascinating but super janky mech-intrigue game, is getting an easier difficulty mode. A new “Casual Mode” will hopefully make the experience more tolerable and give me an excuse to go back and enjoy some Front Mission mech battles.
This year’s Gamescom may be more of an event to keep an eye on. Friend of the site Geoff Keighley is creating “Gamescom: Opening Night Live” which he describes to Kotaku as “sort of like an all-in-one press conference” full of game announcements and news. It will stream from Cologne, Germany at 7pm UK time on Monday, 19 August, to kick off the big show.
