Massive story spoilers for The Last of Us Part II have reportedly been posted online overnight. The leak, which contains everything from level names to cutscene footage, allegedly stems from a payment dispute within developer Naughty Dog.
The leaked information is said to have been originally posted to YouTube and, while that original video has been removed, certain forum sites still contain detailed breakdowns of the content. In order to ensure this article remains spoiler-free, however, I won't be linking to or discussing the new information here. The game's official subreddit has shut down a number of threads, but with a leak this large and high-profile details are likely to spread all over pretty quickly.
Unverifiable rumours suggest the content was leaked by a Naughty Dog employee over a payment dispute, although there has been no word from the developer itself. Last month, the company announced that the game would be delayed indefinitely due to the logistical difficulty of shipping a physical title during the global pandemic.
