There's something about this that upsets me, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Something to do with the blurring of the lines between Fortnite influencer and Fortnite character makes me just a little bit uneasy, but I suppose that's just the world we live in now.
Anyway. Yes, Ninja now has his very own Fortnite skin. The streamer, whose real name is Tyler Blevins, has risen to enormous levels of fame thanks to a combination of the battle royale's phenomenal success, and his own attempts to keep aspects of his stream at least a little SFW. Yesterday, Ninja tweeted to tell fans that "I've dreamt of having a skin in Fortnite since I started playing the game. Today, my dream becomes reality."

The result is a skin that bears a slightly disconcerting resemblance to the streamer. It replicates his logo more than his actual likeness, complete with pointy blue hair and yellow sweatband, but there's a definite bit of Blevins behind the eyes.
Ninja's skin hits the item shop later today, but his isn't the only collaboration on the way, as other streamers will be getting their own cosmetics in the future.
