Telltale Games (sort of) rose from the ashes earlier this year, and now the newly-reformed studio is bringing back one of its classic franchises, as The Wolf Among Us 2 was confirmed at The Game Awards last night.
There’s not much to go on, but according to GameInformer, former Wolf Among Us developers will be working on the second season, including directors Nick Herman and Dennis Lenhart, and writer Pierre Shorette. They’re part of AdHoc Studio, co-developers focusing on story and direction. Also returning are voice actors Adam Harrington and Erin Yvetter, who portray Bigby and Snow, respectively.
Telltale closed its doors abruptly last year, but was resurrected in August by Jamie Ottilie and Brian Waddle, who did not work at the original company. They secured the company name and the rights to some of its licenses, including The Wolf Among Us.
The new-look Telltale says that The Wolf Among Us 2 is still early in development. Adhoc is even actively recruiting, suggesting that the episodic release is still a long way off.
