It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Creator's Next Show is About a Games Studio

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator Rob McElhenney took to the stage at Ubisoft's E3 conference to announce that his upcoming show would be about the games industry, and has been created in collaboration with the publisher.

The show is about a studio that has created the biggest MMOG in the world, and is named after it: Mythic Quest. Everything begins as the studio gears up to launch its first major expansion: Raven's Banquet.

One of the key figures is McElhenney's character, Ian Grimm, the creative director of said expansion. As McElhenney said on stage, "like most creative directors I've met he's entirely dedicated to his game [...] and has an ego the size of a city bus."

So: an upcoming show from high-class creators created in collaboration with Ubisoft. Sounds good! The only bum note was something about it being for Apple TV+...
