Elden Ring is Officially The George R.R. Martin/Hidetaka Miyazaki Collaboration

By Rich Stanton on at

Those rumours about a collaboration between George R.R. Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki turn out to have been more than just rumours.

Announced at today's E3 briefing, Elden Ring got a cinematic trailer with a very over-acting voiceover artist and... not much else.

The Elden Ring will of course immediately bring to mind Tolkien, and the granddaddy of fantasy series, but the key difference here appears to be that, where that world suffers under the power of one ring, this world's one ring has been destroyed.

The game is being developed by Fromsoft, published by Bandai Namco, and there's not much else to say about it other than it exists.

Trailer, go!
