Hitman 2 was a pretty great game already at launch, but has received some really fun additional content in the months since it released. We got to be responsible for one of Sean Bean's many, many on screen deaths, visit a wintery wonderland, and now we get to experience three levels that feel like they might even have a cohesive thread connecting them together.
IO Interactive released a roadmap image, covering Hitman 2's content release plans for the rest of 2019. While many of the updates are smaller, like new weapons and outfits, we also have three new levels to look forward to later in the year.
This summer, anyone with Expansion 1, or the game's Silver or Gold editions, will be able to play a new map set in a bank. While we don't know many specifics about this new bank level, my suspicion is it will play into the map which follows it.
In the autumn, Gold edition players, or anyone who has purchased Expansion 2, will get two more maps, a prison and a resort. Now, maybe it's just me, but I can't help picturing Agent 47 breaking into a bank, getting caught, killing his way out of prison, and living a new life on a resort away from his life of murder and carnage. Probably not, but I can dream.
Apparently, this roadmap has deliberately left out some surprises, which will likely be revealed during future Hitman 2 livestream events.
