Evidence Suggests Yakuza Kiwami 2 is Heading to PC Very Soon

Released on PS4 in the UK last summer, Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a remake of 2006's Yakuza 2. The game, which follows the story of Kazuma Kiryu, has been a PS4 exclusive since its release, but it looks like a PC release is now not far off.

According to an ESRB rating for the game, Yakuza Kiwami 2 is coming to PC. For a ratings board to rate a game, it has to exist in a fairly content complete form, and the publisher has to pay for a rating, making it extremely unlikely a rating will end up inaccurate. Usually these ratings appear very close to the release or announcement of a title, although in cases like Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition it can occasionally be as long as a year of waiting.

The original Yakuza Kiwami similarly came to PS4 originally, before later getting a PC release with 4K graphics and no framerate cap. This isn't out of form for the studio, but it is a pleasant surprise.
