If you enjoyed Attack on Titan 2, Koei Tecmo's most recent entry in the giant naked monster slaying action anime series, this summer will bring some good news for you. According to a press release from the publisher, we're getting more content for the game this summer in the form of Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle.
Releasing on July 5th in the UK, Final Battle will be released as both a new physical version of the game, and as paid DLC for people who already own the original game. The expansion will add characters and plot-based missions from season 3 of the anime, new weapons, and bring the total playable character count to over 40 characters.
While the press release did refer to this as Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle, we can probably expect it to be called A.O.T. 2: Final Battle in the UK, because for some reason none of the previous games in the series have had their full tile when released here.
[Update - Koei Tecmo have now confirmed that the game will indeed be titled A.O.T. 2: Final Battle in the UK]
