Final Fantasy XV Director Trusts Players Not to Make Nude Mods

By Laura Kate Dale on at

One of the big exciting bits of news out of Gamescom this week was the reveal that not only is Final Fantasy XV coming to PC, but it's also going to feature mod support. This does, however, pose an interesting question: how long will it be before the inevitable first nude Final Fantasy XV mods start to pop up online?

Thanks to an interview between director Hajime Tabata and PCGamesN at Gamescom, we now know that the development team won't be preventing people from making nude mods. Rather, they'll instead leave such decisions in the hands of the modders:

"I don't think it's a good thing, but we're going to leave it to the moral sense of all the players out there. I basically want, as a principle, to give as much freedom and as little limitations on it as possible."

Trusting gamers to have some sense of morality and not create nude mods.... yeaaaah, I'm sure that'll go really well.

I'll give it around 24 hours after release until we've got naked Noctis running around.
