For Germany, the Overwatch World Cup is Already Over

The group for the Overwatch World Cup have been announced and, boy, are Germany having a bad time. They've only gone and thrown in with our team from blighty. May as well throw in the towel now, Hans, because ENG-A-LAND, ENG-A-LAND, ENG-A-LAND.

The UK team has found itself in Group H, made up of the UK, Germany, Belgium, and Isreal. The makeup of the teams has yet to be decided with each country electing a commission to select the roster for the national teams. When the games do take place, each group will play a full round robin of matches so they all get the chance to play one another. Then the top two teams from each group will be promoted into the playoffs where a single loss will see the team eliminated from the contest. The playoff stage will take place at Blizzcon later this year.
