OKAY. SPOILERS. IF YOU HAVEN'T GOT TO THE LOST WOODS IN BREATH OF THE WILD, GO AWAY.
Right. So, the Lost Woods in Breath of the Wild is a modern re-creation of the Lost Woods in Ocarina of Time, in which you get lost unless you know exactly what you're doing, and if you don't, the spooky mist will get you and transport you back to the start.
In BotW, the trick is to follow the wind, and if you don't, the mist'll get ya.
But one enterprising young soul on Twitter really can't be bothered to do all that faffing around. Turns out all you really need to do to beat the Lost Woods is be too fast for the mist, and @swiffy22 has some increasingly novel ways of running away.

Like most people experimenting with Breath of the Wild's physics and systems, Swiffy isn't just trying to trick the Lost Woods. He's also attempting to set speedrunning records (which, let's be honest, is one of the most thrilling things with this new Zelda, right?!)
But it's not all scientific experiments and mad dashes across the landscape of Hyrule. Sometimes you just want to hold a lot of bananas, too.
