Spencer Kern, a very handy man whose work we’ve featured before, has seen people’s Pokémon Go battery woes and decided to do something about it.
Using a combination of woodwork, 3D printing and some electronics, he’s built this very lovely Pokécentre-themed charging station.
The Pokécentre shell is hiding a solar generator, which stores enough juice to be able to charge 10-12 phones at the same time.
It’s not just for show, either; he’s taken it out into the wild, where it looks like it did the job just fine.
You can see more images, and get more detail on how he put it together, on the project’s work site.
