Hey, you! Yes, you, Metal Gear Solid fan with tears in your eyes! Remember the time that Konami booted Hideo Kojima out of the building forever and refused to talk about it? Or the time that Konami got three-quarters of the way through making Metal Gear Solid V and decided that it was done?
Well, prepare for the next stage in the company's quest to completely obliterate one of gaming's greatest series: Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater - The Slot Machine.
Yes, that's right; having successfully defiled Silent Hill and Castlevania, Konami, purveyor of all-things-as-long-as-they're-not-video-games, has now turned its attention to Hideo Kojima's masterwork. If you can raise your quivering brow up long enough, here's a video of the new gambler-ised Snake Eater in action.
Admittedly, the spruced up cut-scenes do look a bit swish – I genuinely thought we were in live-action territory for a few seconds – but I'm not sure I'd have the patience to endure a Kojima-sized cinematic between every spin.
