Knights and Bikes is Secret of Mana Mixed With The Goonies and it's Gorgeous

And it’s just been announced for the PS4.

It’s utterly gorgeous.

We first wrote about Knights And Bikes a couple of weeks back when its Kickstarter was first announced. But now it’s been unveiled as a PS4 game and with that announcement comes a trailer that had me literally fawning all over my laptop screen.

Jesus this game is cute.

It’s more than cute, it’s authentically beautiful and really manages to elicit a nostalgia without being nostalgic in that gross way. It’s charming but doesn’t come off like an insurance commercial –that’s what I’m trying to get at here.

Think The Goonies. Think Earthbound. Think Undertale.

Also, it’s a co-op game. That’s also nice.

Knights and Bikes is a dream project for us. A combination of childhood memories, the power of imagination, and the wonderful gift that video games can be. While you can play it on your own and it’ll be a great experience, it’s also built for co-op play, so you can team up with a friend and explore the beautifully hand-painted world together.

Aw that’s lovely that is.

Knights and Bikes doesn’t have a release date yet, but the team is shooting for April 2017. But I want it to come out nooooooooooow…
