Amiibo continue to be a cash cow for Nintendo - the company's latest financial results, released yesterday, show that Amiibo sales to date number 21.2 million. That's not counting 8.6 million individual Amiibo cards, which currently only work with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer.
56% of the Amiibo sold in the past 6 months were bought in the US. 23% were bought in Europe, and only 13% in Japan, which is surprising. Overall, overseas sales made up 87% of Amiibo sales in the past 6 months.
