On my usual rounds of the publisher storefronts, I do sometimes see things that tickle my intrigue gland. One such tickle came yesterday, when I saw there was something Uncharted 4: A Thief's End-related on the US PlayStation Store.
It's right here (you'll have to be logged in with a US account to see that, but it's sure to come to the UK store soon enough), and it is three bits of DLC. For Uncharted 4. Which you can buy right now for around £16 ($24.99). Even though the game isn't out until March of next year. And even though - when the game does come out - you'll have to wait additional time, likely months, before these DLC packs are released.
Is this a new high in levels of pisstakery? Or is it the kind of thing we'll all brush off as nothing and forget about - the fact we're being blind pre-sold DLC half a year before the game it's actually for is out and likely about nine months to a year before what we're buying is actually available?
