Ubi did a lot of location scouting for Far Cry 4 and TIL that, not only, is Kyrat International Airport based on the very real Tenzing-Hillary Airport but you can visit in Google maps.

If the names sound familar it's because it was originally called Lukla Airport but was renamed after Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, the first people to reach the summit of Mount Everest. It's actually a busy airport because it's the place where most people planning to climb the mountain arrive.
