Fury-inducing, score-chasing pixel-border OlliOlli is back with new stuff and, of all things, a plot.
Well, a plot of sorts. Alright, a set up: "The iconic ‘skater’ is going all green-screen and getting radical at Olliwood Studios, plucking him from the street and dropping him squarely in the middle of the Big Screen’s most bodacious cinematic locations."
I'm not sure the use of 'bodacious' is allowed unless you're a turtle. Anyway, trailer first, details second:
As you can see there's a plenty of new stuff on the way, most crucially a reworked combo system that add manuals, reverts, revert manuals, and grind switching, as well as new tricks like 540 Shuvits, Anti-Casper Flips and Darkslides. Lets pretend I know what I'm talking about here and not just quoting the press release while vaguely remembering Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.
Helping things along further are multiple routes, loooong hills, bigger ramps, multiplayer and, according to a flash frame in the trailer, 'Roll7's soul'. The daily grind and all the other stuff returns as well as a new mode called Combo Rush, a 1-4 player split screen mode where players chase the high scores.
A few more numbers: 5 new worlds, 50 new Amateur and Pro Levels and 250 new Challenges.
As the trailer says. PS4 and Vita, 2015.
