Ubisoft has pushed the release of Assassin's Creed Unity back to November 13, two weeks after it was originally due out.
It's the usual thing. The press release says, "The two extra weeks will help ensure that the quality of the game meets fans’ - and the team’s - lofty expectations". Assassin's Creed Rogue also oddly slips back to Nov 13 in Europe but not in America where it'll be out November 11th.
Here's what senior producer Vincent Pontbriand says:
“As we got close to the finish, we realized we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Assassin’s Creed Unity is exceptional. We sincerely appreciate players’ commitment to the game and their patience. It’s just a couple more weeks. And it’s going to be worth it.”
