A beleaguered GaymerX has been helped out by a donation from Devolver towards 2015's events after NIS America withdrew its support this year.
The LGBTQ gaming convention (which Kotaku's Nathan Grayson rates highly) had agreed sponsorship for a VIP party with NIS America. That has since been revoked according to Joystiq (via MVC) who also reports that NIS America is "trying to work with GaymerX so that we can resolve this issue as soon as possible."
In the meantime Devolver has offered to help out for next year:
We pledge $3,000 for a 2015 @GaymerX sponsorship and challenge other game companies that have the means to do the same.
