The Mighty Tactical Shooter is a Turn-Based SHMUP

Some ideas look cool the second you see them. Like this one: a tactical take on bullet hell shooters that's part RTS and part puzzler.

Look at it.

Using path prediction and a wealth of gadgets you have to micromanage your way through the action. As well as mapping out routes and using power ups (like gravity wells to redirect bullets at enemies) you also have to direct power flow and manage 'buddies' in charge of things like shields and repairs.

Here's a video showing all the various systems in action. The developer, Brighton-based Sock Thuggery, has just launched a modest Kickstarter which has already hit 20% in the first day. You should definitely check it out for more info.
