CD Projekt Red showed off a bit more of the amazing-looking Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, where we got to see you can indeed go on actual hunts. The hunt in question being of a griffin.
Using a trail of blood behind to help track the (obviously wild) prey you're hunting, we were shown the glorious open world Geralt makes his way through in the game.
Players can traverse any viewable location in the world - travelling into the mountains 'and beyond'. Though I'd guess eventually you have to stop.
During this chase/exploration, a fight with some vagabonds naturally erupted. And it's very, very violent - limbs going everywhere.
This game is looking better by the second, frankly.
