Remember the madness of Watch Dog's numerous special edition combinations? Good news: The Witcher 3's having none of it. CD Projekt Red co-founder Marcin Iwinski says everyone will be treated "equally" with no exclusive content.
Speaking to Eurogamer Iwinski had this to say on the idea of platform and special edition exclusive content:
"We are treating all gamers equally. We'll not deliver exclusive content to any of the platforms, nor will we artificially delay release of the game on any of the platforms because somebody's paying us money for that. It's definitely against our values. We are not doing that."
So that's good. Although he did also add: "What we are doing in terms of marketing cooperation you'll see at E3," which sounds vaguely sinister.
