The Chinese Room, developer of Dear Esther and Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture, has been acquired by Sumo Digital. Co-founder Dan Pinchbeck is staying on while Jessica Curry has departed. The news comes almost a year after the studio laid off much of its staff and went “dark.”
A little while ago, Capcom announced that it hoped to have a Devil May Cry 5 demo ready and available in time to bring to Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. According to a tweet from director Hideaki Itsuno, things are all looking good. The demo is done, and Devil May Cry 5 will be playable for the first time worldwide at Gamescom next week!
