Arriving today on PS4, with other platforms to come on Tuesday 26th February, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has a new season of content ready to roll out.
Operation Grand Heist is the name of this new batch of content, and every day of its launch week, players will get new content added to the game to experience.
Today, players will get:
- a new multiplayer specialist, Outrider;
- a new multiplayer mode called One in the Chamber;
- a bunch of updates and balance changes to weapons;
- two new multiplayer maps for season pass holders;
- a new blackout location called Ghost Town;
- a new blackout prestige system;
- a new blackout character for season pass owners.
There's also a new Zombies gauntlet, a new zombies perk called the Ethereal Razor, an extra tier skip, and signature weapon support. Lastly, a bunch of new items are being added to the black market for players, including a new 100 tier contraband stream.
Tomorrow's update is simply listed as "A familiar face makes an appearance to welcome in the new Operation…", whatever that means.
Thursday, league play is coming to multiplayer, and zombies mode is getting support for new black market weapons.
Finally, on Friday, a new game mode called Hot Pursuit is coming to Blackout, with a handful of new vehicles including an SUV, PBR, and a muscle car.
If you're curious about the plan for new in-game content beyond the end of this week, Treyarch has on its website a content roadmap leading all the way up until the end of April. All of these updates will come to all versions of Black Ops 4, but Xbox One and PC users will have to wait a week longer than those on PS4.
