If you've been itching to get back to playing what was once considered the benchmark for high-end gaming, today's update on Xbox One might be just what you're after. Yes, five years after the last entry in the series released, the Crysis trilogy of games are now available on Xbox One backwards compatibility.
The original Crysis tells the story of a routine rescue mission that ends up in a battle against aliens in North Korea by a man in an advanced nanosuit. Crysis 2 saw aliens decide to return at the worst possible time, as the earth is being hit by natural disasters, and earth has to make use of a new even better nanosuit to fight back. Lastly, Crysis 3 takes place a few decades later when, you guessed it, aliens once again try to ruin things and we have to fight them off again with nanosuits.
It's important to note that the Crysis 2 multiplayer apparently does not work for those picking the game up on Xbox One.
If you have a disk or digital copy of any of these three games, they will now be supported on your Xbox One.
