As of yesterday, Gen 4 Pokémon started rolling out in Pokémon Go, with the first wave of 20 or so being made available. While an official list of available creatures was not made available, players across the world have spent a day cataloguing their finds, and it turns out three of these new creatures appear to be regional exclusives.
According to an interactive crowdsourced map being compiled by players, it seems the new regional exclusive creatures to be collected are Chatot, Carnivine, Pachirisu.
Chatot, a parrot Pokémon which for one game was able to mimic sounds the player made into a mic, before this was abused to make the bird swear at opponents, seems to be available in Brazil, South America, Southern Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, covering from approximately half way down the Corsola region zone and south towards the pole.
Carnivine, a smiling venus fly trap with limbs, seems to be available only in the south eastern United States, in areas like Florida.
Pachirisu, a cute little white Squirrel, seems to be a Canada and Russia exclusive, stopping just shy of being available in the rest of Europe.
Currently, the UK's only region-exclusive creature in Pokémon Go is Mr Mime, but many have suspected Mime Jr may also be a UK and Europe exclusive when introduced.
