At some unspecified time later today, a PC Blackout Beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is due to go live, and as part of the preparation for launch, developer Treyarch has given a few specifics on things players can expect.

Apparently, today's beta will be locked at 90 FPS on PC. At this current time, it has not confirmed if this will be the case in the full game, whether there will be a higher cap at release, or if the game will be uncapped.

This 90 FPS lock is particularly interesting considering last month's multiplayer beta featured an uncapped framerate on PC.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 releases on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on 12th October 2018.
