All Those PlayStation Exclusive Final Fantasy Games are Coming to Xbox One, Not Just Switch

During last night's Nintendo Direct presentation, we got the surprise news that alongside a port of Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD, the Switch would be getting ports of a bunch of previously PlayStation-exclusive Final Fantasy games. Now, thanks to a press release from Microsoft, we know that those ports are also coming over to Xbox One.

Yep, if you're an Xbox One gamer, you'll now be able to play Final Fantasy VII, IX, X, X-2, XII: The Zodiac Age, and World of Final Fantasy Maxima on your non-Sony branded machine.

World of Final Fantasy Maxima has a release date of 6th November 2018, but the rest of the ports are all just nebulously 2019 dated. Still, that does mean that next year is going to be busy with Final Fantasy releases, approximately one every three months or so if they're spread out evenly.
