As the release of this autumn's Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee for the Switch continues to draw closer, we're slowly learning new bits of info about the pair of Pokémon Go-connected home RPGs.
Today, we learned via a press release that the two versions of Let's Go will feature version exclusive Pokémon – unsurprising following the trends of all past RPG entries in the series. For Let's Go Pikachu, Oddish, Sandshrew, and Growlith have been confirmed exclusive, while Eevee has Bellsprout, Vulpix, and Meowth. It was not confirmed whether or not this was an exhaustive list, or just a partial list. However, if you only pick up one and do not enjoy trading with others, you will be able to transfer these creatures over from your copy of Pokémon Go.
Also confirmed is that players will be able to give their box art best friend Pokémon of choice a custom hairdo if they wish. The only example shown off in key are is a slightly awkward looking fringe, but I'm quietly hoping for a Pikachu with a Mohawk.
The game's newest trailer, seen above, confirms that your partner Pokémon can be male or female, confirms that your rival will be friendly rather than mean, and shows off in greater detail some of the game's beautiful new cutscenes.
