Microsoft likes to release new Xbox controller designs on a regular basis. The latest to hit the shelves will be the 'Sport White Special Edition'. It's white, grey and mint-coloured, and it's designed to make you think of athletics and sports. Just what you should be thinking about while you're sinking into your sofa, scoffing a bag of Doritos and playing another round of PUBG.
It's actually quite a nice design – the colours complement each other well, and despite having a similar pattern to the recent combat tech controllers, it's a lot more eye-catching and, well, prettier. That is despite it being very much the colour of a pair of Nikes.
For the first time, too, the controller will be getting a matching charging stand so you can remain stylish and do away with those pesky AA batteries. There's no word on a price or release date outside of the US just yet, but at $50 we'd expect it to be somewhere between £40-£45.
The Sport White Special Edition controller will be available from 7th August with an RRP of £60 if you feel like you're due an upgrade. For more information, check out the official announcement on the Xbox website.
