Over the past couple of months, we've written a few news stories about Taiko no Tatsujin: Nintendo Switch Version!, the newest Taiko Drum Master game coming to Switch in Japan later this month. While the game releases in Japan on July 19th, it's getting an English language port on August 9th, leading some to suspect it would get localised release over here in the future.
Well, an Australian ratings board listing has just popped up for Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘N’ Fun! on Switch, suggesting that the localisation is in fact real.
The rating was submitted on 15th June, and as ever, it's as close to an official announcement as you can get ahead of an actual reveal. Ratings boards need to see a game in action to rate it, and as such it's pretty much confirmed this is a real title. As Australia shares a console region with the UK, this all but confirms a UK release too.
Bandai Namco has not officially announced the game for a UK release, but we have reached out for comment and will update here if we hear anything.
