This year marks the 40th anniversary of video game company SNK. To mark the occasion, the company announced this past weekend during PAX East that a 40th Anniversary Collection of its games is coming to the Switch. However, it seems like that isn't SNK's only plan for celebrating its big milestone.
In a tweet on the Japanese SNK Twitter account, the company announced that they are planning to release hardware this year, containing a collection of Neo Geo games including The King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown, and Metal Slug.
The Future is Now! #SNK #SNK40th #NEOGEO #ネオジオ pic.twitter.com/zxXK5QQ8D2

While very little information was given, other than an image of something under a cloth, we can assume that it'll likely be a retro console very much in the vain of the NES or SNES Classic.
