If you've still got some spots to be filled in your Kanto Pokedex — the collection of original 151 Pokémon originally available in Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow — then tomorrow is your chance to start filling in those missing gaps. Pokémon Go is hosting a Kanto-themed event, lasting a whole week, and it comes with a bunch of rewards and bonuses.

From 11-18th April, Kanto Pokémon will spawn in greater numbers than normal, with Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle in particular seeing large boosts in spawn rates.

Snorlax and Aerodactyl will be returning to raid rotation for a week, giving players to grab them if they're missing either.

On top of this, Kanto creatures will provide double candy, both when caught and when transferred. If paired with Pinap berries, which also increase your amount of candy collected, this could be a great time for grinding large amount of candy. For any players taking part in the Mew quest line currently, this could also be very helpful for collecting the 400 Candy required to evolve a Magikarp in Special Quest stage six.

So, this is your chance, go finish collecting all those digital embodiments of nostalgia.
