Here's What The Newest PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Xbox One Patch Changes

By Laura Kate Dale on at

There's a brand new patch for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds live now on Xbox One, and it makes a few notable changes to the game.

Probably most prominent, the new patch makes it so that players no longer all start in the same starting area, but a series of smaller starting areas with fewer players. These new separated areas also feature no weapons in an attempt to lower server-side lag caused by 100 players on screen making use of graphical effects.

Players will now also take less damage from environmental objects like trees, rocks, and falling onto the ground.

Other changes include team colours being made more prominent, a water sound bug being fixed, the fixing of a teleportation bug, and a bug that caused some objects to float in the air being fixed.
