Poundland Now Sells £5 Video Games

According to a report from the folks over at GamesIndustry.Biz, 350 Poundland stores in the UK are now selling video games for £5 a piece, pre-owned.

The store, which was once known for pricing all items at £1, but has since introduced £2 and £5 sections, is selling Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 games sourced via Music Magpie. Music Magpie is a website where people can sell their unwanted films, CDs and games in exchange for cash, with the discs now being refurbished and provided to Poundland.

The list of games available reportedly includes Destiny and Fallout: New Vegas, with Wii U games apparently planned for the future. Another 50 branches will start getting video games in stock in March. All games are being sold at £5 each.

So, I guess if you're after some non-brand deodorant, a cheap USB cable, and a multipack of crisps, you can also pick up a refurbished second-hand video game while you're at it.
