If you're hoping to get your fix of monster hunting action in Monster Hunter World this year, but are hoping to do it on PC rather than console, it looks like you're going to have a little bit of a wait on your hands. According to Capcom, the PC version is still planned and on the way — but it won't be releasing until autumn 2018. The console version is coming on 26th January, meaning PC players have a delay of roughly eight months or more.

While the delay is less than ideal, it's at least good to know the game is coming. Larger Japanese development studios have been coming around to PC as a platform slowly over the past few years, so I'm happy to see that support continue to grow, even if it means a slightly longer wait.
