If you're looking for something to keep the kids busy and distracted when the October half term rolls around, you're in luck. The Science Museum in London is bringing back Power Up, a gaming themed interactive exhibit which it also ran last year.
Open from October 20-31 2017, the exhibit will feature numerous gameplay stations from retro games and consoles right up to VR gaming exhibits. In terms of modern systems, the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation VR both feature.
There will also be 18+ only evenings held on the 26th and 27th that apparently offer a more competitive angle.
The exhibit will run alongside a bunch of activities designed to teach kids about some of the science-based careers surrounding game creation, and aims to encourage further learning in those fields.
