Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age is out today, finally giving Vaan the perfectly chiselled six-pack he always deserved. The swish new Playstation 4 remaster also offers another chance to explore what was, by all accounts, a bit of an under-appreciated gem in the Final Fantasy series, with Kotaku UK's Rich Stanton previously and enthusiastically describing it to me as "[bleep]ing great."
To celebrate The Zodiac Age's release, we're giving away an extremely limited custom-themed PlayStation 4 — one of 12 that exist in the whole world. It's lovingly adorned with Yoshitaka Amano's iconic Final Fantasy XII cover artwork and, if you need specifics, is a 500 GB PlayStation 4 Slim. As if all that wasn't enough, you'll also get the ludicrously desirable collector's edition of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, which comes with a set of mini-busts so lovely it sells for £185.
All you need do to be in with a chance of winning this beautiful beast is leave a comment below, any comment will do, though if it was me I'd write "I'm Captain Basch von Rosenberg of Dalmasca!"
When the clock strikes 6pm BST on July 18th 2017, Kotaku UK's magic selection beaver will randomly choose from among the collated names, and the winning entrant will be contacted thereafter. The last time we ran a Final Fantasy competition, people loved it, but some were also very angry that they didn't win. Please don't be mean about the magic selection beaver: he's only doing his job.
You can read Future's full competition terms and conditions here. Good luck!
