It's been a big week for your favourite web-slinger. First, he closed Sony's PlayStation E3 conference with a rollicking nine minute gameplay demo, featuring slick combat, plenty of trademark Spidey banter, and a show-stealing setpiece that would make even Uncharted's Nathan Drake jealous. Then we found out Mr Parker would be forced to embrace his inner pacifist, as Insomniac confirmed its upcoming superhero sandbox won't let you kill anyone. Now the Ratchet & Clank studio has confirmed Spider-Man on PS4 will let you play in different costumes.
The developer confirmed Pete will get to don different suits in an exchange on Twitter:

Hardly an earth-shattering revelation, but if Spidey's default costume isn't doing it for you - maybe you're bummed his famous arachnid symbol is white, rather than the traditional black of the comics - then I guess this is good news.
With Marvel's upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming due out in cinemas next month, could Spider-Man on PS4 feature a special unlockable suit inspired by Tom Holland's teen hero? Both PS4 Spidey and Holland's wall-crawler are already rocking retractable eye lenses, so providing Sony and Marvel could sign off on a deal, it would be a cool little Easter egg.
There's no official launch set for Insomniac's Spider-Man at the moment, other than a vague 2018 release promise.
