When You're Trying to Shoot Some Zombies But Your Dog Has Other Ideas

By Kim Snaith on at

You know how it is. You're trying to get in some quality video game time, but your pet is having none of it.

For me, it's that my cat Molly often decides to jump up onto the TV unit and sits right in front of the screen when I'm at a crucial moment in a game. Many a life has been lost to the difficulty enhancer I dub "Molly Mode". For other people, however, it seems to be that their dogs just can't stop humping their leg while they're trying to shoot zombies in VR.

Wait... what?

That's exactly the problem this guy is having in a hilarious gif uploaded to Reddit by RonWheezing. The bloke is deep into Arizona Sunrise on his HTC Vive, protecting himself from a horde of flesh-hungry zombies while his dog... well, his dog is deep into something else.

I'm not sure if I'm more impressed by the fact the guy just carries on like nothing is happening, or if I'm slightly disturbed that he doesn't seem at all bothered by the fact his dog is getting jiggy with his leg. Perhaps it adds an extra dimension to his gaming experience?

Let this be a warning to all pet owners: pets are dicks (and, apparently, horny little beasts). If you're otherwise engaged inside a VR headset, your dog may just take horrible advantage of your appendages. [Reddit]
