I've recently been playing the wonderful twinstick shooter Bezier, a one-man project quite unlike anything else in the genre. It's already delivered a moment I'll never forget, which came as the wonderful music built to a peak while I fought two spiralling enemies shooting out letters — an almost transcendental section, where I was utterly absorbed. And then I heard the cry MEGGGAAACHAAAIIIN.
Cannot get over that sound effect roughly 20 seconds in, the most 'videogames' moment of all time. Game is Bezier, an absolute belter. pic.twitter.com/1nGJuJ0o6B

Dissonant but brilliant: in a small way it encapsulates everything I love about videogames. So much that I decided, with encouragement from Big Jules, to apply it to classic videogame moments. And it turns out everything is improved by a man shouting megachain. Enjoy:
Honestly, I could've gone on all day. Expect much more on Bezier next week.
