As pointed out on this Neogaf thread yesterday, a Japanese job advert has been posted looking for a QA tester/translator for Psychobreak 2 – Psychobreak being the Japanese title for The Evil Within.
While there's yet to be any official confirmation, a sequel to 2014's horror extravaganza isn't at all surprising – it proved to be a successful title for publisher Bethesda, and developers Tango Gameworks have always described The Evil Within as a 'franchise', even since before its release.

The job ad doesn't give away too many details, besides a brief description of the role – someone to translate Japanese bug reports into English for overseas development teams. However, it specifies a time period for the job from 10th April until 31st October – does that mean we could be seeing a release of The Evil Within 2 towards the end of this year? If that is indeed the case, then we shouldn't have to wait too much longer for an official announcement.
