Alan Stone, one of the people who brought Nintendo to the West, has died at the age of 71.
Stone co-founded Far East Video back in 1979 and used the company to import Nintendo arcade cabinets. Then in '81, he co-founded Nintendo of America, where he worked as its vice-president.
Stone worked at Nintendo of America for over a decade before becoming CEO of SEGA Entertainment in 1994, overseeing the arcade division for the a decade.
