Brighton-based developer Relentless, perhaps best known for its interactive quiz series Buzz! on PlayStation, is shutting down today after 13 years in business, studio founder Andrew Eades has confirmed to GamesIndustry.biz. All of the studio's employees are to be made redundant.
Following the release of the final Buzz! game in 2010, Relentless developed its successful, self-published mystery puzzler series Blue Toad Murder Files (later, known simply as Murder Files), alongside several other projects, including two games – Air Band and Mutation Station – for Microsoft's Kinect Fun Lab series.
Earlier this year, Relentless opened a new studio in Wales, as part of a three-year deal with Hasbro involving its interactive toy range.
