Report: Pokémon, Mario and Zelda to Arrive on Nintendo NX in First Year

Another purported leak out of Nintendo says that new Pokémon, Mario and Zelda games will all appear on the Nintendo NX console within the first six months of its life, claims MCV.

The console itself – long rumoured to be a portable/home console hybrid, a theory lent credence by a Eurogamer report last month – will be out next March. MCV's source has backed up that report, and stated that NX games' graphics will be "somewhere between PS3 and PS4".

Zelda was already confirmed in the form of Breath of the Wild, which will launch on Wii U and NX simultaneously. MCV claims that the new Pokémon game isn't a spin-off, but a Game Freak game (which seems eyebrow-raising given that Pokémon Sun and Moon are both out late this year), and that Nintendo has also been busy securing third-party support from major publishers.

No news on when Nintendo plans to share its plans for the NX officially. Given the company's history, it could be anytime.
