E3 is just a week away, people. We're staying home for the show this year at Kotaku UK whilst our American colleagues frolic around the LA Convention Centre, and we're keeping a close eye on all the pre-show leaks and rumours flying around the place. I've gathered them all in once place, for your convenience.
Before we begin, the usual caveat: we don't report things here at Kotaku unless we're very confident in them (such as, for instance, the PS4.5 details, the roadmap for the next Xbox, and the recent No Man's Sky delay). Many of the rumours and reports below, however, come from a variety of sources, some more reliable than others, and I can't vouch for their veracity. Let's have some fun with it, eh?
Bethesda will announce a Skyrim remaster
This report has been flying around all over the place lately, hotly discussed on NeoGAF, where one purported insider claims that it will have console mode support. I'd prefer a Morrowind remaster, personally. :(
Microsoft will announce Dead Rising 4
This is very likely to happen, as photos of marketing materials have shown up in several different places. It's been suggested that it could be a kind of remake of Dead Rising 1 rather than an all-new Dead Rising.
Sony will announce a new PS4 model
Given that the PS4K, or PS4.5 as it's variously become known, is designed to improve performance for VR, and PlayStation VR is coming out in October, it would make sense for Sony to officially announce it at E3 and release it later this year. We'll have to see.
Prey 2 will make an appearance
Kotaku leaked a bunch of internal emails concerning Prey 2 – which is, or was, in development at Bethesda's Arkane Studios – a few years back. The publisher has since claimed that the game is cancelled, but there's been talk that it will make an appearance at Bethesda's press conference.
There's a new Watch_Dogs (CONFIRMED)
We knew there was a new Watch_Dogs coming. We were also pretty sure it was set in San Francisco and starred a new protagonist. Watch_Dogs 2 was to be officially announced at 5pm on Wednesday, but in the meantime, IGN jumped the gun with some advertising showing the release date (15th November) and a San Fran cityscape. Whoops! (Update: here's the official trailer, now that it's been released.)
Microsoft will announce a new Xbox One model
I'm confident that Microsoft will announce a new Xbox One model at E3 – but what will it be? Will it be a new form-factor for the current Xbone, an Xbox One Light, or will it be Scorpio, the upgraded model that the company is working towards releasing in 2017?
Capcom will announce Resident Evil 7
Wouldn't this be great? I've heard that Resi 7 has been in development for a long time now and is gearing up for announcement, but can't be absolutely sure. Hopefully Capcom will bring the series back with a bang at next week's show.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will make an appearance
File this one under "extremely unlikely": neither Rockstar nor 2K likes to play ball with E3, and if RDR 2 is going to be announced this year it will probably happen on the publisher's own schedule, not at the show. Still, we've been hearing that it's in development for literally years, so unless it's been cancelled in the meantime, it's surely got to emerge from the shadows at some point.
Injustice 2 will be announced (CONFIRMED)
A follow-up to superhero fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us was leaked via a Tweet on Tuesday, and then pretty much confirmed by Ed Boon, head of the developer in question. Warner then announced it on Wednesday.

16 New LEGO Dimensions sets leaked (CONFIRMED)
Amazon accidentally leaked some new LEGO Dimensions sets on Thursday - then Warner confirmed them later in the day with an amazing trailer. Look forward to Harry Potter, Adventure Time, Sonic and more.
Everything about the new Destiny expansion leaked ahead of time (CONFIRMED)
Sony confirms the PS4K...
... but it won't be at E3, so this is neither a rumour nor a leak, technically. Still - check it out. Details are light, but it's good that Sony has finally confirmed it.
We'll be keeping this updated in the run-up to the show. Seen any fun rumours yourself?
